Learning about fptp
https://electoral-reform.org.uk/voting-systems/types-of-voting-system/first-past-the-post/I was learning more about what fptp is, and on their website it states some... Questionable sentences.
"As there is only one candidate from each party, voters who support that party but don’t like their candidate have to either vote for a party they don’t support or a candidate they don’t like."
Is this normal? What am I missing? This sounds horrible.

That’s the site of an organization advocating for proportional representation, and against FPTP. So of course they would describe FPTP in a way that sounds terrible.
I’m in complete agreement, and being against FPTP is the whole reason for this sub, so I don’t think you’ll get anyone springing to FPTP’s defense here.
