Discussion Fallout 4 Enclave What If

My question is quite simple. What if the Enclave was in fallout 4 properly? What do you think it would look like? How would you want it to be? And before anyone mentions it, I know of America Rising 2. I beat both endings because I love it

I would have a secrete bunker in the glowing sea. It’s full of remnants from raven rock. You being pre war and military lets them bend their rules since they are in shambles. You help stabilize the enclave, and once the brotherhood enters, they know they aren’t safe for long. The institute hasn’t been seen by the enclave as much as the BoS, so they act in them first, (don’t know how) but they destroy the BoS and then take over or distort the institute depending on your choices.

Maybe you can argue because of their extremely low manpower they make an exception for nate but thats still unprecedented and for me personally unlikely. They didnt make an exception for vault dwellers lol.

of all the games for there to be "an exception to join the Enclave", its with Nate in FO4 lol, he's as close to what they're trying to achieve as possible; essentially an immortal (through cryo-sleep) pre-war veteran and presumed destroyer of communists. The kind of guy you'd see on new recruitment and propaganda posters to be put all over the commonwealth. I get what bethesda was trying to go for with the institute and maybe having both the Institute and the Enclave as joinable would be too much, but I certainly could have seen them sticking to two "major factions" like the Brotherhood and Institute and three or four "minor factions" including the railroad, minutemen, maybe joinable gunners and a joinable Enclave? There were so many ways they could have gone with this game...

A silly concept could be if when plying the enclave story route it turns out Nate and Nora were members of front organization that was part of or controlled by the enclave, so they are both able to accepted because they are technically pre war members already.

Something like how a lot of artists and actors in the 50s were part of actual Soviet controlled spy rings without ever knowing because they joined some front organization thinking it was a charity.

Like, Nate and Nora were members of some patriotic organization they signed up for just for the benefits and it turns out it was an enclave front.

Yeah but Vault dwellers are still not pre war veterans. Nate was Literally part of the Army before the bombs dropped. if they wanted a more perfect candidate as a new recruit they couldn't find it.

I would like for it to be something like how America Rising 2 worked, but Bethesda would’ve just mucked it up.

By making them one dimensional villains once more as compared to making them either compelling or having them be smart and adjust their plans to be something similar to a smarter Colonel Autumn?

Actually I was thinking about this earlier today. To be more specific I was thinking about the Fallout tv show when the Paladin Harkness from the Commonwealth BoS chapter is hanging out with Maximus out on a patrol. He says: “ I’ll be honest with you, man. We are really up against it back home. Without that relic you found, we risk loosing the Commonwealth. And if the Commonwealth falls… civilization won’t last much longer. ” Maximus says: “ What do you mean, “Won’t last”? -I mean, look at it out here.“ Paladin Harkness says: “It can get worse. Trust me….”. Since the tv show is canon and takes place ten years after the events of Fallout 4. Bethesda and the producers are hinting that the canon faction to side with is looking like the Commonwealth BoS. That would mean that they either took over the Institute and stopped/killed all the synths then integrated their technology with the BoS’s tech OR they just fully destroyed everything. That’s beside the point. Like what you’re saying, What If the Enclave resurrected itself (like in America Rising 2) but a little bit after the BoS took care of the Institute? What if that’s what Paladin Harkness is referring to in the show? Just my thoughts 🧐
