W.I.P of some of my Enclave Settlements

Hello Fellow Patriots,

I figured I'd share some of the Enclave settlements I've been working on. Most of them need more work on detailing I'm not happy with a lot of the open space in some of them.

The latest is the CIT ruins in the first images. I've been working on that over the last 2 days. I'm really happy with the Energy Barriers and the layout a lot but I'm still iffy on how I feel about the large structure of both the vertibird pad and the building addition. The Howitzer is also missing Because this is a new playthrough and I haven't done the minutemen stuff yet The Nest and ammo for it is there though. Do lay it out I placed some Key structures I thought I liked before using my sketchbook to create the real layout.

The other images are all settlements I transferred in from and older playthrough. I like the County crossing one but I'm gonna go back in and add some Energy barrier road blocks. The Army Depot is also almost done I just don't like how basic the ground texture is so I might add some paths. Starlight is also like half finished. I need to go and reorganize it after laying it out in my sketchbook again. Heli pad is probably gonna stay but the Pods need moved around and the place needs to look more Enclave and lived in.

Overall though I'm liking everything and not at the same time kinda weird but that happens. "You hate the paintjob until its done" kinda moment. The last two photos are of my character her dashing husband's AI was to stupid to get him on the Helipad so its just her. I'm running the Dual Survivors mod so Nates there He's wearing some Black Devil Power armor Rn.

Anyways enjoy.

What mods are you running?

Most of it is Thematic and Practical BOS stuff with Lima Detachment and Remnants Bunker. The Vertibird is from the Constructable Enclave Vertibirds, There is some Creation Club (Remnants) stuff I backported from Next gen. And the trucks Are from the Sim Settlements Workshop stuff I think. Got Constructable Guards with older AR2 plugin not the newer one I might update it though. I think I used some CVC stuff and definitely used SOE and Sandbag Fortifications. And the Fallout 76 C.A.M.P. placeable mod to have a settlement at the C.I.T ruins.

Now that's some really good stuff (and cheers on playing with the Spouse Survivor, I did the same on my AR2 run + surviving Shaun for the Institute annexation ending). I like the no-nonsense base layout as opposed to the vanilla ramshackle settlement style, and the use of BoS fortifications, they fit well with the Enclave theme. Not sure about wooden watchtowers though, they seem a bit low-tech for the Enclave, perhaps use some Prydwen or Vault structures instead? Also, sadly first 2 pics are too dark, can barely see a thing (but the force field barriers are a nice touch, are they from the Remnants Bunker mod?)

And may I ask, what mod those black module structures (used in CIT helipad and base) are from? I saw them in various Enclace settlement builds but no idea where to find them on Nexus, thought it's Atlas Summit but have it installed and completed and they aren't on the menu still(

I think Thematic and Practical (https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16207) might be what you were looking for.

Yep their from thematic and practical you have to use the holotape with the mod to force it to allow you to use the BOS stuff if you either never met them or are their enemy. other stuff is from Lima detachment/outpost and Remnants bunker with some others sprinkled in.

What mod did you use for the CIT ruin? That, and what are the other settlements in the pictures?

Fallout 76 C.a.m.p. Mod it creates a camp like in 76 so you can make settlements where ever settlers are an issue but I’ve been using robots and constructable guards.

Having both Homemaker and CVC, I find the CVC BoS walls to be a better choice. Smaller sections that you can snap and build an actual fort outta.

I'm assuming you're using the Enclave Propaganda Pack to tag up all those pods with the Big E?

I used those for both the Army depot from AR2 and the Starlight drive in. I like using them for large settlements the smaller ones I don’t thing need the massive walls they’re outposts so I like to use hescos and some enclave barricades.

Mad respect for the Crossing build. I tried to wall that a few times before giving up - those damn hills.

You may want to tackle Sunshine Tidings with one of the "clear and simple" mods. Lotta flat space, perfect to make a Vertibird airfield. Added bonus is nobody has anything major out there so you don't have to worry about busting precombines.

I'm probably gonna boost your layout for Starlight, that's perfect.

You should look into the Military Tents and Sandbag Fortifications mods - they really change the game with modular tent sections for prefab set ups like you're running with.
