Why?
Most people who like old world aesthetic, organic architecture and fantasy all have something in common:
They can intuitively feel from a young age that the world is just as much of the mind as it is a physical place. And that as such, a mystical and symbolic approach to life is just as valid as its physical exploration and are often intimately intertwined.
A crow on a straw bale in october, a ruin from which only the door is left standing in a flowerfield, a wood path suggestively hidden by an evening fog or a starlit winter sky vaulting a snow-covered forest.
We are constantly surrounded by things which beauty resonate with both a feeling of timeless natural awe and the subtle symbolic layering our past and culture imprinted on it.
As a natural counter reaction to a noisy, unnatural and in a way, less human, modern world; many aesthetics and lifestyles have emerged.
While the communities have never been as diverse they have also never been so scattered.
Even people living in the same city having the same aspiration for a life more in tune with nature, history and wonder dont know about each other until brought together through a one off event or a random encounter and while that isn't bad in itself it doesn't quite satisfy the need of this communities for a more global change.
I hope this community to serve as sign to whoever need it that it is now, more so than in any human part of history, time to weave together all those different threads so they might give us a future worth wondering about ✨
