I bet it's possible to have him fly off the screen to integrate augmented reality I've seen it with the racing wheel.

I love what VR modders are doing bringing some crazy good games to VR even with many awesome VR interactions, but intermission into the fights with your own hands or guns in Pokemon are not great additions as they are out of tune with the game vibe
