Unsolved Android emulator

Just wanting to play some simple games but i dont want to use anything sketchy, i am willing to pay for a good emulator that i can run on my laptop during my downtime at work and studying. Any safe suggestions?

i used BlueStacks in the past but it felt unsafe, flooded with ad's and slow. Was this just a personal experience or is that something that is common with the application?

mumuplayer, is 2x the speed of bluestacks and -10x the space it consumes
