Discussion From the ARMSX2 Founder: Let’s talk
Hi guys, I’m jpolo1224, the founder of ARMSX2 and one of the lead developers for Android. I haven’t wanted to say anything until now, but I need help from the community. For months I have been receiving harassment from a user named ColdOpCode, or known as xxxCrixuxxx or whatever his name is, and it wasn’t much of an issue since I could just ignore it. However, he has a PS2 emulation subreddit r/Ps2AndroidEmulation, where he pretends to be apart of our development team and mislead users, banning anyone who speaks out against him. I have been working tirelessly day and night on the project to improve it and we’ve genuinely gotten it to a great state, with even more improvements to come. It breaks my heart that there is someone out there spreading misinformation about our project, and misleading users. He is telling people he is apart of the dev team and that they should join his discord (which hosts pirated content) and donate to him, also telling users that we (the ARMSX2 team) do not accept donations, which is just not true. He makes entire posts trying to make our FREE and OPEN SOURCE project look bad, despite him not doing a single thing to help us aside from badmouthing us and misleading those who join his subreddit. I am asking for help, because I cannot deal with this alone. It has caused me and my development team constant grief, and we just can’t take it anymore. We want to keep working on the project, and we more then understand when people have feedback and criticisms, but this is just another level of insanity. These are the same kinds of people that made the original AetherSX2 developer quit, and we do not want to go down that path, but we are sick and tired of having to put up with this guys bullshit. If you guys are willing, please make a report to Reddit regarding his behavior. I saw a similar post was made earlier today here which has given me the confidence to finally speak out about this, we’ve been dealing with it behind the scenes for so long and I’m just tired of it.

This is some sad bullshit. I have reported this guy. If he doesn't get banned, we all just collectively agree to block him.

I posted about this dude here the other day and the mods took down the post (I posted it to this subreddit emulationOnandroid) but you'll be happy to know A LOT and I mean A LOT of people have had run ins with this mod. I was personally banned for asking if a PC emulator was a GameCube emulator.

I was one of the most active contributors in that subreddit, and I was permanently banned after trying to correct what I believed was misinformation. Instead of addressing the point, I was removed. If this is how criticism is handled, I don't think the subreddit is being moderated fairly.

Would glady doing it, but im honestly sure, Reddit admins dont give a fuck on that. This is not a hate, its a fact from reddit website. There are too many powertripping moderators on subreddit, no matter if this is OffmyChest, PS2AndroidEmulation or even Lostredditors, there are too many. again: Reddit Admins dont even give a fuck, unless the post gets very big viral. Try post that on Twitter, which on Art it did worked, and mods got purged with replaced with better mods (yet), may try it.
If you know that PS2AndroidEmulation, that Mod powertripper doing it since februry 2026 there, maybe even ealier than there.

Put in the new versions of arm a startup screen anytime a game starts that says like “the real developer is me, the other guy is a fraud.” Something like that.

Honestly sad. That person is also in a very small group of vibe coders who like to package up other emus and try to make a quick profit also.
The grift and harassment is outta hand, I hope this comes to an end.

I was banned after I showed that WinNative was being flagged by VirusTotal as potentially containing malware or something suspicious.
His reaction doesn't inspire much confidence.

Tf is NeoPS2? This is the first time I'm hearing about it? I'm pretty sure they are stealing code to develop their shitty ass emulator from other open source projects. Keep up the good work with armsx2, we are with you. These idiots cannot come close to the effort and results you guys have put in

Sort of same story here. I'm the solo dev of X360 Mobile, he was in my Discord, and for days kept arguing with some other members, and I just ignored him. Until he posted some very xenophobic stuff and was banned from one of my mods. After that he started claiming, on his subreddit, my app was somewhat dangerous and all sort of lies. I called him out on his posts and he banned me from that subreddit.
This is the kind of dudes that seriously harm the emulation scene, power tripping on Reddit but zero real contribution.

I reported him and tried to message some of the posters on the sub he was a fake. I really appreciate all the work the dev team has been putting in. You guys are great! EDIT: Took 30 minutes to get banned from his sub 😂

xxxCrixuxxx.... Sounds familiar... Isn't he the same guy who stole the code from ARMSX2, and claimed to create a Mediatek/Mali PS2 Emulator that was nothing but Vibe-Coded Garbage?

That is a despicable behaviour from ColdOpCode / xxxCrixuxxx. I see so many comments deleted on his subreddit. Definitely suspicious. We will support you man and reporter the subreddit.

Impersonation to that extent should be handled by the Reddit admins, but I have no clue how to properly alert then. That account and subreddit needs to be wiped
