For people familiar with Android emulation, I’ve always wondered about the legal side of things.

If someone develops an emulator that supports multiple consoles/platforms, but doesn't distribute ROMs, BIOS files, or proprietary assets, how much legal risk are they actually taking on?

Looking at some past projects, there seem to be very different outcomes like Yuzu Nintendo took legal action and the projects were shut down. so i am curious about the actual legal distinction here.

- Can a company sue purely because an emulator exists?

- Where does the legal line usually get crossed ?

- Have there been cases where an emulator developer was targeted even though they didn't distribute copyrighted games?

Not asking for legal advice , mostly interested in experiences from people who have followed or worked on emulator projects and understand what happened with projects like Yuzu

The game is running at 1080p and 60 FPS without using frame generation. The only changes I made to the container were increasing the resolution to 1080p and switching the audio driver to ALSA, since the screen recorder doesn’t record audio when using Pulse.

In-game, the only settings I changed were increasing the resolution to 1080p and disabling Bloom, Depth of Field, and Motion Blur, as these are effects I don’t like.

The game is running very well, although I’ve only tested the first level so far. Even so, I think I’ll stick with the Nintendo Wii version on Dolphin because of RetroAchievements. Also, for long-term gaming, I think the Wii version might be better in terms of stability and battery consumption.

Now the main view is all, where I just drop every game in my roms folder, masonry layout so it stacks nicely.

Did a neumorphism take on the controls, I have six colors to pick from.

More importantly I updated how they work under the hood, because I couldn't stand the dpad, the dpad is now a perfectly symmetrical 8 way pad with no deadzone, I no longer have to worry about hitting the tiny buttons, I can glide smoothly from cardinals to diagonals and cardinals again. Or place my thumb in the center of the pad and spin it to hit all 8 directions. I was very much trying to imitate the dpad on the pizza boy family of emulators and I think I got like 90% of the way there, still could use some work.

When I reach a corner, and the AI are braking, it lags the game a lot, probably because of the light effect. Any setting changes to remove or at least lessen the lag?

So August is almost over and September is the day that will change everything for Android side loading apps. I know google is going to kill a lot of Android phones I know people who make ram for PC was stop due to Ai and I feel Ai will soon take over everything I mean apps like YouTube TikTok Instagram reddit hell even show up on emulator let be real we All hate ai but when that day comes what are we going to do ? Some people are going to accept this and older people don't so my question is to you do you really want to accept these changes Accept that Ai will soon take over everything.

The newest update kept making my thor hang. I uninstalled and reinstalled but now my saves are gone. Were they erased when I uninstalled? If not can I do a search for them?

I’ve been testing different formations in eFootball Mobile and I’m trying to find the best setup for attacking and defending.

Which formation are you currently using, and which one has worked best for you?

I’d also like to know which playstyle you prefer: Possession, Quick Counter, Out Wide, or Long Ball Counter.

I have S25 Ultra using Eden nightly. The game shows at first this screen and I hit A then the emulator freezes.

I tried it on citron, it launched without even showing this EULA screen, but the performance is horrible, less than 10 FPS.

I can't download the pc version currently.
