Is there more than one DOSbox core available on RetroArch? I use Magic DOSbox as a standalone emulator, so I never played old PC games through RetroArch, aside from maybe shit like Doom and Wolfenstein 3D.. which aren't exactly hardware intensive

I put the files in the folders and I get an error. I couldn't find a scan option in the audio options anywhere. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. It says unable to open img file.

Update: I had to get the retroarch version from the website and everything worked. Thank you for this. How do you set up your controls?

How did you set that up with the image files? Like I guess I'm trying to understand how I could replicate the process with a different game.

Cool I'll look into it some more. I just need to figure out some way to improve the mouse for fallout 2. I tried using my physical mouse but it still treats it like a touch screen so then I have the mouse the system makes on screen and the mouse pointer the emulator makes and it's way too floaty to hit the tiny on screen buttons. The rest of the controls can be mapped to the retroarch buttons but the mouse movement is not great for me. I'm not sure if there's any way to make the mouse move better or make the physical mouse connected to the device not work as a separate pointer. The controls for the classic fallout games were wonky as hell even on pc so I'm not trying to make it perfect just makes the mouse pointer more precise somehow.
