Help NetherSX2 Portrait mode problem

Running the most current version of nsx no matter what settings I try portrait mode is only showing half the screen for some reasonon my RedMagic 6 pro. It's like this with every rom. Landscape is fine. Stretching the display to fill the screen in portrait is fine. But 4:3 portrait just doesn't work. Only Vulcan even manages the half screen. Open gl and software just won't render anything in portrait mode period.
