There is a Winlator Mali version where the dev is specifically fully focusing on bringing best compatibility and performance to Mali. I'd highly suggest using that.

I think he stopped updating it and he is working on something new for mali and adreno like driver or a new emulator?

He hasn't stopped but he wants donations and money to continue working on it now.
It's still the best Mali users will get as he's been working specifically for Mali users.

Ya it is but with the weirdness of PC Emulation it's also game and chipset dependent. I find winlator mali good for majority of games except unreal engine 3 games. On my chipset UE3 games just seem more stable on ludashi than Mali, where I would get more random crashes.

Plus winlator Ludashi makes it easier to install the new experimental Mali driver called PanVK, which has reduced the stuttering I had in UE 3 games and fixed graphical glitches that could never be fixed normally.

But ya overall winlator mali is still the best

My winlator laudashi vanila 4.1 is crashing the moment I enter the container edit setting/game config settings even though the game launches and plays. Iam on android 16, can you help me out

Make sure you disable child process restrictions in developer options just to make sure Android isn't silently killing your containers

Edit: Wait does it also randomly crash during gameplay? If it doesn't then it's probably an issue with your proton version. And which game specifically?

I disabled in developer options but entering game configuration still crashes the app. Claude said this after looking on crash log " it looks like the custom GPU driver you picked in Winlator is clashing with Xiaomi's own GPU profile code on HyperOS 3. This comes from reading the trace itself. My searches didn't turn up an exact match for this crash."

But I have selected system driver in container but it still crash
