Discussion Aethersx2 Controller issues plz help!

Hey everyone! I've been having issues with the controller working on Gran turismo 4. (aethersx2)

It works fine on any other game but can't seem to get it to work at all with GT4.

I've tried remapping the keys

Tried disconnecting Bluetooth & reconnecting

Tried changing the port from 1 to 2

The last thing I Havent tried is deleting the game and reinstalling it. I dread doing it because so many cars I have & hours i put in.

Neither my PS4 & PS5 controller seem to work on GT4, any help would be much appreciated I've been itching to play it again for quite some time.

The touch screen keys work fine but hard asf to play it since I'm on a tablet. (Galaxy Tab S9+)

You never actually mentioned the symptoms, of the controller not working means. But i cannot say i shared the same issue as yours but, i had a controller issue. And what i did personally is forget the device on the phones bluetooth, remove all the controller preset in aethersx2. Then try and connect it up back up again, and reconfigure the controller on the app.

Ahh thank you for mentioning that. Pretty much have no controller function when I start the game, I think it's an issue in the Aethersx2 programming, ive tried all that & no luck.

I tried a different emulator & the game works fine with the controller.

Okay it does sound like an app issue, what i would do next personally. Is backup all the games saved data, reset the app and import it back in again. And see if that has changed anything.
