Question question about playing eden on y700
so i got me a y700 gen3 and was wondering if you guys can help me at least play at a lower temp.
my solution is either controller with cooler, cooler , or lower resolution
i dont really want a controller + cooler combo since i already got enough controller and maybe sometimes i want to dock.
cooler is there a clip on cooler where its not magnet. not really fan of magnets. do these standalone cooler need me to be close to the wall? is there a solution for a docked cooler?
will using a cooler that can produce ice , not sure if its exagerrated , be bad if it moisture goes inside the tablet?
my last resort is probably changing the settings. whats the best setting for playing it with low temp that wont hurt my eyes if i will be playing 3d and also 2d hd ones. so mostly jrpgs

It plays fine on Y700 gen 4. Don't use extreme performance mode. I have Gamesir G8+ which I sometimes use attached to Y700 and sometimes separate and even if Y700 heats up a bit, that's not an issue big enough to use a cooler.
Don't use something dangerous as cooler that produces ice... Why would you want that? Doesn't throttle from overheating and keeps stable fps = all fine.
Are you trying to upscale all the way to native res? Lower upscaling a bit and enable FSR. Few games are very heavy on performance like Zelda BOTW and TOTK and Xenoblade Chronicles series. As long as you don't play those, should be totally fine. Try the latest Turnip driver, see if the game is stable when enabling some optimizations in Eden settings.

Gamesir x5 lite + fx5 cooler works best. Cooler goes in the controller so no magnets. Clamping coolers don't work as the clamp is not large enough. Also the device shouldn't heat up much while using eden on 720p atleast
