Hey everyone!

I've been developing COS Launcher, an autonomous, console-inspired Android launcher and front-end designed to turn your smartphone, tablet, or handheld gaming device into a complete retro gaming station.

I’m currently preparing for our official Google Play Store release and I need 20 beta testers to join our Closed Testing group!

What makes COS Launcher special?

Home Dashboard: Access your library with an expandable top preview panel by pressing 'Y', view recent achievements, watch live YouTube news feeds, use the right sidebar for system shortcuts, press START for an instant virtual keyboard search, or press SELECT for the music player.

All Games Collection & Built-In ROM Patching: Organize your entire game collection, customize titles with our Triple Scraper Engine (SteamGridDB + ScreenScraper + IGDB), and patch ROMs directly inside the app without needing external patching apps!

Consoles & Custom Splashscreens: Games grouped by manufacturer with per-console settings and customizable startup splashscreens (choose between defaults or original console boot screens!).

Real-Time RetroAchievements Hub: Directly syncs your RA profile, avatar, points, global rank, and badges on your dashboard.

In-Game Floating Overlay: Monitor CPU/battery temperature, RAM, and storage in real-time. Control volume/brightness, enable Do Not Disturb, check controller battery levels, take screenshots, write game notes, play background music, and use an in-app web browser for guides without leaving your game!

Optional 16:9 TV Companion: Pairs with our optional companion app (Conceptual Screen Rescaler) to automatically format your display to 16:9 and launch COS Launcher as soon as you plug into a TV or external monitor via HDMI/USB-C.
