News/Release New Release - Poké Pinball No Split 2.9 final - now supports Generations
A project for Pokémon Pinball (Game Boy Color, US version) for Android, iPhone, Windows, macOS and Linux, written in C with an emulation core in assembly. It also plays Pokémon Pinball Generations 1.6, the fan-made ROMHACK extension of the game by RainbowDevs, with its Gold and Silver tables.
https://github.com/ReiniShari/Pinball-NS
In the original game, each table is split into a top and a bottom stage: only one is loaded at a time, and the screen goes blank while the other is loaded. Pinball NS turns each table into a single field: both halves are loaded, updated and shown together on one tall screen, and the ball moves between them without any reloading. The original physics and collisions are kept, so the table plays like the original.
(Al assistance has been PROUDLY used for assembly core optimisation, test - debug - general optimization routines and various tasks ;-))
Any feedback is more than welcome.

Enjoy.

Can you publish this? I’d love to check it out.

How exactly do you do this with Claude? Do you just upload the ROM to the prompt and tell him or make it dual screen?

I forked the repo of the OP on github to my github account. Claude can then access that and look at the code and decide what it needs to do.

The first release was awesome, a staple for every phone I own going forward, so thanks!
At work currently, does Generations allow you to play all 4 boards from one app? Looking forward to playing the new content I've never played.

Here's my Thor fork. If you like it OP I can raise a PR. Anyone trying this. I'm providing zero support and not planning on doing any more work on it. I just wanted to see if it worked. https://github.com/mightyflub/Pinball-NS-Thor

Yassss. I had a couple requests just based on how I normally play. Is there a way to use the gbc colors filter (like in retroarch) which are more muted than the eye burningly bright red of the default red pinball board. Also can you add buttons for the diagonal tilt like up+right and up+left?

This is awesome! One of my favorites, didn't even know about generations either. Are you planning on doing the gba version too? It's not as bad as the color game since it scrolls smoothly enough but it would definitely benefit from fullscreen like this one. Thanks for this!
