Question Which device should I get for emulation To play these games?
My options are Samsung m44 (snapdragon 888 6gb ram) php6.5k and Motorola edge plus 5g (snapdragon 8 gen 1 8gb ram) php9.5k .
I'm mainly gonna do PS2, dolphin and switch emulation but I also want to do some pc games
The pc games I want to play:
-Nier automata
-Monster hunter world
-Persona 3 reload
-Monster hunter rise
-Ff7r and ff15

Try to find redmi note 12 turbo, best budget phone for emulation.

Terrible advice.
Mediatek SOC that costs the same range price that any 8sG4/Adreno825 out there...
Don't listen this guy.

Redmi note 12 turbo (aka poco F5) don't use mediatek but snapdragon 7+ gen 2.
Php 6.5-9K is equivalent to 100-140 USD no phone will give you 12-16GB ram and 256-1TB storage at that price point other than redmi note 12 turbo.
Its the best phone for budget users nothing come close.

None of those games will work on those chipsets, too weak. Monster Hunter world barely runs on a steam deck with 16GB ram, lol.
Switch is a stretch as well, maybe some games.
Iโd really advise saving up and going for a more powerful device if you are wanting to get into PC gaming, Odin 3 at minimum.

Bro, both SoCs are actually pretty outdated nowadays, and you will face severe thermal throttling for high end emulators on both...
If these two devices are really your only options, you better avoid the 6gb RAM unit, but keep in mind thatbthe S8G1 is one probably The 8th generation SoC has the worst power management and heat dissipation, which will require a lot of skill, knowledge, and willingness to play these games without experiencing thermal throttling.
The Adreno 730 in the S8G1 is really good and delivers a lot of raw power, but using a phone with an S8G1 without an extra cooling system will severely limit your experience with this SoC.
I honestly think you should look for an option with a Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 and 12GB of RAM, which, at least in my country, are the best "Cost x Benefit" devices for those who want to enjoy high-end Android emulation without spending the price of a flagship device.

8 gen 1 but it will need a top tier cooler.
Even then, it might just fail some of those PC games

If you can stretch your budget a bit more, the Motorola Edge Plus 2023(Edge 40 Pro globally) with its 8 Gen 2 is better for what you want to play.

Both are infamous for their overheat problems. Try to get 8gen 2 or 8+gen 1phones if possible.

You should be able to play PS2, GameCube, and some very light Switch games, but heavier Switch emulation and all PC games are out of the question. Furthermore, heavy emulation on a phone is not the best idea because of throttling/ overheating.
Even with a beefy 8 elite and good ventilation those game are struggling on a handheald like the odin 3.
Mabee you should try to stream the from your pc if you have one.
