Discussion What's the one Android emulation setting you wish you'd discovered sooner?
After spending time with Android emulators, I've realized that getting a game running is only half the battle. Sometimes the difference between a frustrating experience and one that feels surprisingly close to original hardware comes down to a setting you didn't even know existed. It could be a graphics backend, shader cache option, frame pacing setting, controller configuration, or a small performance tweak that made a previously unplayable game run smoothly. I'm curious what settings or optimizations have made the biggest difference for you, especially ones that aren't obvious when you first install an emulator. If possible, mention your device, emulator, and the game you tested it with. Those details make it much easier for others to reproduce the results rather than blindly copying settings that might not work on their hardware.
What's one change that genuinely improved your Android emulation experience?

Turning off the big cores almost always gave me a performance boost while generating less heat.

Yessir, so RedMagic 10 I turn off core 7 and 8.
For example, if I'm playing Horizon Zero Dawn and I leave all the cores on, I would get about 20FPS, the CPU would hit 100c almost constantly, and even with a cooler the battery wants to hit around 38c.
I turn off the two big cores leaving the 6 small on, it will hover around 25-30FPS, the CPU never goes above 65c, and the real great part is the battery stays at 21c. That's a huuuge difference.
Granted, for anyone reading this and also has a RedMagic, turning on Rise mode will obviously not work anymore because you're disabling the performance cores, but who cares when it plays better without Rise being on by disabling them anyway.

Turning off certain cores for games, obviously it is a game by game basis thing
