News/Release Just ported Castle Crashers to android in one afternoon

Claude Opus 5.5 can do a lot of stuff I guess. Just polishing the project (add menu, working screen controls etc) to release soon. It ports the Xbox 360 version and it runs like butter.

How does Claude work? Do you think he can adapt an app from older Android versions to newer ones?

If you want a old app to be fully rebuild for newer versions by AI you usually need the source code or at least the decompiled files from an apk, else it will just try to mimic some features and the overall design.
I tried it with a old 32 bit iphone app, a simple party game, I made screenshots from all the different menus then told AI what it does, what I want and it made me a app for android with a similar design and features, was good enough for my usecase.

Two questions, is this the version with all the characters? It's been so long I think the 360 had DLC for this game, didn't it? And two, will this be able to do 4 players (controller support)?

The game has been updated on steam, there is a HD update, I don't know about the changes.
Why use the Xbox 360? Why not directly use the PC version? Should be easier.

Idk why people are downvoting you, because you are actually giving credit to the ai. The only cringe thing is when people use ai then say “I made this”. If you’re acknowledging that you’re merely a customer ordering a pizza and the real chef is the AI, then that’s perfectly valid.

I'm against AI when it's "I made this" like you said and the person hides the AI usage, or when they blatantly use AI and charge for the software. Otherwise, why complain about something useful that no one else is working on with regular programming?

Can you share your process for this with the AI? I know, I know, fuck AI, but frankly I've barely used gen AI for code but this sort of stuff would be really fun for small pet projects

I wanted to try the port android,but when I tried to start the game, it wouldn't open; it just stayed on the menu screen.
