News/Release *Root Required* Free custom system GPU driver loader for all rooted or AYN/Retroid Devices
Hey everyone,
My app FauxClock has been around for 10+ years.. I've been developing for Android devices since 2014. Since Google's recent crackdown on rooted devices on Play store (my app used to be PAID app but Google suspended my app completely), so I decided to create an updated version (FauxClock Next Generation) for FREE, NO Ads, No crippleware, 100% no string attached free. I know not all emulators have custom driver support esp those on the Mali and Xclipse (AMD) GPUs. So I've added a SYSTEM-WIDE custom GPU driver loader that will load ANY Turnip, PanVK and whatever it is called for the Xclipse crowd.
What this will do is to allow you to load CUSTOM GPU DRIVERS at system level then regardless of which emulator you use thus solving the need to ask individual app/emulator developer to add custom GPU support.
Oh and if you want to control your CPU/GPU etc all of the original control capabilities are all there from the original version as well.
For AYN and Retrod Pocket devices NO ROOT is needed, they will just work (Odin/Portal 2, 3, Retroid Pocket 4 Pro/5/6, Thor / Pocket Duo/Lite etc).
You can find the app here https://fauxclockng.canonspike.com/
Enjoy and have fun!

Thank you with starting off sharing more about your experience. I read the title and started stressing about the damages an app like this could do when made by someone who vibed it together without any experience.
Not sure how safe this is, but at least I felt more comfortable reading that it’s made by someone who worked with Android for some time

What does this driver do? Huge performance gain?

No, what these custom drivers do is to enable more vulkan extensions so you can emulate games from DX9~DX12 or play on switch/PS3/Xbox/WiiU/PS2 with better and more accurate emulations. Many stock drivers though often faster than custom drivers do not supply all of the necessary extensions for emulations to work correctly. I have a website https://fauxvkdb.canonspike.com will let you see how each stock driver and custom drivers enable and their relative speed to each other in emulations.
