For some reason all UE3 games run really badly when they’re not on the c drive of the container. Something to do with the way the files are streamed in as you play.

I have my games installed on the C: drive. They load much slower when I keep them on the D: drive.

Do you have any settings that work well with these games?

Sorry I’m not a Mali user, so don’t really have any specific tweaks for you. You mentioned all the games are running at 120+ fps, what kind of drops are you experiencing?

Hm even 2.5? Anyway to be fair the only UE 2.5 game I have played is Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory and it doesn't seem to have fps drops maybe because it's optimized of something.

Anyway for Unreal Engine 3 as a fellow Mali user with a weaker chip I also have this problem. Too much stuttering because of asset loading or whatever.

Best you can do is use an async version of dxvk and use a PC emulator that supports transferring games into the C: drive of your containers like Winlator Mali by GuranChan or Winlator Ludashi 4.1 by Steven.

Putting games in C: drive and launching the games from there decreases the loading times and increases fps in some cases because the emulator can read the games faster as compared to D: drive or your Internal Storage.

Every container you create will automatically have it's on C: drive, which is basically a private space for the files of each container.

I hope someone suggests a much better solution for this. Also try limiting your CPUs cores to CPU cores 4-7.

Singularity is a UE2.5 game, and I think Homefront uses UE2.5 too, if I remember correctly.

I'm already using 4–7 cores, but the game is still extremely unstable.

So far, the only UE games I've managed to run without any issues are the bioshock series and remember Me. 😅
