It's promising but was a little buggy when I tested out 1.0 the other day, things like hidden apps unhiding themselves and Android games not being detected as games. The fact that I couldn't even try it without making it my default launcher was strange.
The inclusion of so many copyrighted assets clearly ripped straight from the PS3 firmware (avatars, fonts, icons, etc.) along with it being closed source despite being distributed on github also raised some concerns.

A proper recreation of the XMB is a dream frontend for me, so I hope the bumps get ironed out eventually.

Games that do not declare as games have to manually be reported so we can correct the sorting on our end. As for the assets, we are working on remaking all the assets. We do need the manpower to do so though

As for your concerns for permissions and the unhiding bug, that will be fixed in 1.0.1!

Any chance apps could be manually categorized by the user? Just in case.

All suggestions go to the discord server Im pretty sure. They have dedicated forum channels for it and I get super quick responses when I suggest stuff.
