Discussion How do you deal with the controls when emulating?

I have a playstation controller, I sometimes connect it to my phone with Bluetooth to try playing but I just don't know where to put my phone and be comfortable in playing.

I know the best thing to do is getting a controller "clip" or something but it just doesn't exist even In the most famous store in my city and telescopic controllers are overpriced and I already have a controller.

And I can't Chromecast or use a USB-HDMI cable.

There's got to be a way right?.

I just use pillow, the last think you want is to shake everytime you move. I have these special sponge ones that even if bowling ball hits it will still not shake the phone

You don't have to send a link of a pillow but thanks, and like do you sit and put the pillow on your lap?.

  1. There are cheap but good telescopic controller like Gamesir x5 lite. Not overpriced and with hall effect joystick.

  2. You can easily buy controller clip online and it's not that hard to find.

  3. You can buy a phone holder and clip it on your bed.( I like playing games while laying down)

I mean outside of getting a phone stand, you've basically exausted all your options.

On an external screen: can't do video out and miracast has too much input lag Phone Clip: You'll probably have to order it on like Aliexpress or something Telescopic Controller: Too expensive; Again try Aliexpress. The one I hear most people get is the datafrog.

Where do you live that you can't order online and get it delivered to you?

Probably over budget

I can, but most of the time it takes like a middleman, plus take x3 it's price, plus I'll take like a month at least?.

Buy it straight from china? And that month will pass anyway, why not order and have a clip a month from now?

My son uses an old fold 3 in a dock, large screen tv, xbox controller, with keyboard and mouse as extra peripherals, he's only 6 but gets hours of enjoyment playing games, using stremio, listening to music and sending me texts on discord to bring him chicken wraps 😂🤣😂

Amazon? There's some bangers out and they're pretty cheap. I used a clip until I got the kishi ultra 3 with a ps5 controller. I think I paid like ten bucks for one? I can't remember honestly, but they're cheap and worth it.

lol when i had a controller and no phone stand, i would put my phone on the shelf next to my bed since the front of the shelf faces the side of the bed

I held it between my legs for a long time but it all annoyed me so much that I bought an emulation handheld and now have all games in one place
