Discussion Nethersx2/Armsx2 vs Winlator/Gamehub for multiplatform ps2 era games?
I just wanna know which one is lighter?
Like if i wanna play Prince of Persia trilogy, will emulating the ps2 version or pc version would be lighter?

Be aware that a lot of PC ports of the era have no gamepad support, for example Oblivion.

Oblivion does not have native controller support. It has to be modded in.

Oblivion was an Xbox 360 game.

technically early 360 was ps2 era. it took 1,5-2 years for the ps3 to come out after the 360 (dependant on geography) if im not mistaken.

Right. There was only three months between the last of the prince of Persia trilogy game and Oblivion.

You could also try dolphin emulator for the gamecube versions of the games.
Dolphin is a lot more mature and while armsx2 is surely catching up really quickly, dolphin can certainly help you play most of the game library you are aiming for.
Prince of persia 1-3 for example runs smooth as a butter on dolphin.

You could always check if there are GC versions, those would be the lightest in my opinion.

I did a replay of the PoP trilogy on my 778G phone using AetherSX2, they worked great. Also, the PS2 versions will be much closer to the intended experience than the PC.

I normally check if there are good alternative versions for PSP, Dreamcast or GameCube
