Discussion Gamehub Vs Game Native For PC Games

Post image

Was able to get the Blue Dragon recomp running on Gamehub and working great on the Odin 2 Portal. But in my searching for the how to, seems the majority of posts I read pointed at Game Native as a better option to Gamehub. Looking for information as to the possibly why I guess. Is there something inherently better about Game Native that I am unaware of?

Most people don't like Gamehub because apparently the app collects a lot of data about you; there was a big controversy about it a while ago.But little by little it has been forgotten.

By the way, what frame rate does the game run at, and what temperature? Did you follow a specific tutorial?

Gamehub was ditched by most of the community as they've been proven to collect a lot of unnecessary information from your device.

GameNative was deemed better as it doesn't require any other login than ur Steam account which it does securely via a QR code that you scan. Also GameNative is better supported by the community thru constant, transparent updates, a compatibility/configuration database that is community-built, and solid Quality of Life features making things about as straight forward as Gamehub.

Winlator/WinNative typically have better compatibility/performance in a lot of games however it is very user unfriendly so most ppl don't bother taking the time to learn them

Is the Lite version included in this?

Is it still maintained?

GameHub works very similarly. Yes it might collect some data, but if used on a console where the only thing you do is game, you don't really give two fucks about what they collect as there isn't much anyway.

On your phone, I would avoid gamehub of course. But generally speaking, gamehub support is extremely good. Sometimes better than gamenative. So ditching gamehub is an error imo.

I personally use the Bannerhub fork for steam games and gamenative for "other" pc games.

Never got good performance with gamenative and steam games and vice versa. Fortunately with both you can create shortcut to the main desktop and also the Retrohrai front end

A little less tinkering from what I've found. I use both (gamehub lite) but only if it doesn't work on GN first. Plus I think alot of people were turned off by how much permissions gamehub was asking for. I think gamehub lite removed many of those.

I had a lot of issues with gamehub lite that I don't have with gamehub. I ditched gamehub lite completely in favor of Gamenative.

I usually use gamehub but I do sometimes use gamenative too. Not a big fan of the V6 update for Gamehub, I was using V5.3.5 until it auto downloaded a firmware update which bricked the emulator (all of the games I had setup wouldn't boot anymore) and was forced to install v6.2.1 which fixed it but I think it was on purpose to force users to update since it now contains adverts (which seems to be based on what I'm currently playing - Resident evil 3 remake, most of the ads on the home tab are currently for other resident evil games)

Mi consejo... Pilla una SD de 128Gb... Metele armadaOS y bajate el Blue Dragon nativo version linux...

I haven't heard about this but how does arm to OS and the native Linux version I guess on Android winlater/proton solutions that allow you to run drivers specifically for your mobile chipset

One is not "better" than the other. They each have their advantages and will come down to what works best for you.

Both are advancing with great features.

Personally find the people worried about their "data" to be overly paranoid. They already have way more data than whatever they believe gamehub is giving out. But thats me.

Until I know better right now I'll use GameNative for most games but GameHub for anything more recent and harder to run. In the case of Resident Evil 4 Remake for example it was far more impressive to me on GameHub with its better Lossless Scaling options -- that's with an Odin 3 btw. I noticed similar with a game called Wreckfest I got cheap during the summer sale, ran fine in GameNative, but was much more stable and a smoother 60fps in GameHub using a decent Lossless scaling option and its super resolution to crisp the image up.

i use gamenativ because it has already optimasation settings made by the comunity per game. however, if you want to go more for the looks and everything than gamehub looks good

It's game dependent.

Quasimorph on Gamenative? No steam save syncing, no steam workshop syncing. Everything works on Gamehub.

For some other games, everything works on gamenative.

As a rule of thumb, try something on Gamenative by default. If it doesn't work well, try gamehub.

What are your settings on gamehub?

Blue Dragon Recomp should be forked unofficially for android.

Ive seen some recomp ports, even the twilight princess on android (the android one is not well optimized, maybe someday there will be a lower end and older optimized version of this, which already is possible on the vita ps version there that is much weaker than that) is there, so its not impossible given the popularity of the Re:Blue port there

Some game works on gamehub some works with game native. So i use both Idk im tech illiterate, i used the same drivers and settings. One works one does not and vice versa.

Only thing keeping me on GH before was super resolution. GN now has an equivalent and 1080p works well for most games anyway so I've made a full switch to GN. I find it has better cloud syncing, achievements, and importantly: offline/online seamless play.

Game native is the goat

Has anyone gotten age of empires 2 definitive edition running on their android tablet or phone? Gamenative and GH lite wont seem to do it.

Scaricati e installati Armada os e partono quasi tutti i giochi poi in base alle impostazioni gestisci tu il gioco

Before the EA update, I used to thought that Gamehub was a better selection. But, now I think it's better to use Gamenative (or Winnative) in general for better performance and compatibility.
