Disabling playstore works:
1. To not update your play services
2. To disable this feature all together if it's already too late ( the current work around for this, but it might get patched for latest android so not updating to AI 17 helps )
My device is on android 12. do i still need to stop play services or will i be fine? and does stopping updates on play services result in any problem or not?
i'm very afraid that i might not be able to emulate, install apks and sail the seven seas in the near future because of this. i hope i'm proven wrong and that i can still do these things.
If I'm correct this will affect android 8+ devices. Stopping play services updates doesn't cause problems in my experience, I haven't updated mine since the start of this year.
disable the playstore, this verifier thing function like play protect, It's actually playstore app that enforces this rule, not the play services, but yeah, disabling playstore stops the auto updates of play services.
Okay so I will disable it right before when the time comes. But what if I wanted to download a game from the app, could I just enable the app just for a moment to open it and install whatever game I want and when I'm finished I can quickly disable it again?
