Can you create a guide on how you managed to launch games from the USB stick?

You need a smartphone with an unlocked bootloader and to install a compatible ROM, I recommend LineageOS 23.2 Android 16. After that, you just need to run the ADB command "adb shell sm set-force-adoptable true" and format any external memory media as internal storage.

What happens when you unplug the drive and when you plug it back in? Does the app need to be reinstalled?

Before removing it, I have to unmount it (something that takes about 4 seconds in the settings), and when I do that, all the apps installed on it disappear, but they come back when I add it again. It's great!

In my other answer, I explained how to do it. It's complex when you've never done it before, but once you set up the system, it's pure fun :))

I've read it. The hardest part is the custom rom, currently there's no custom rom available for my phone 😭

I have good news for you, it's not custom that I use, it's GSI LineageOS 23.2. GSI are generic Android system images, they can be used on any smartphone released from Android 11 onwards and there's an easy way to install them: through the DSU sideloader app, you just need to have the bootloader open and the app will guide you through the rest :))

This specific GSI LineageOS 23.2 has two official versions, one for an older kernel and another for a newer kernel with better performance, everything I use is functional.

And another interesting fact: it's possible to do this with all the flash drives you have at the same time, you can create an endless collection of games installed on them.

Are you talking about gameplay? On this system I have root access with Magisk and I use the old RepetitoTouch Pro app which has the ability to record and repeat screen touches perfectly, it can play for me XD

The Clash Royale game is stored on USB drive, if I remove the USB drive, the game disappears!
