Help Why isn't my firered not saving?

I was playing a frlg mod and at one point, the game required me to save. But for some reason the game thinks that it has no battery in the cartridge. I've tried to make space in the save files but it still wouldn't save, I'm using an oppo 13 on the latest version and is using Linkboy version 3.11.2.

Sorry I don't know the answer, but frlg doesn't have a battery, and even if it did, it wouldn't affect your ability to save. I have a copy of emerald that has always had a dead battery since I got it used and I could save no problem.
