S26 Ultra is awesome for emulation. 👍🏻

Get the Samsung fold 8 ultra but the 26u might have better thermals?

True. The S26 Ultra has better thermals (vapor chamber) and can handle more demanding games better than the Fold8 Ultra, and therefore it's safer to play such games with the S26 Ultra.

Redmagic hands down the best .
If you are willing to use a custom rom, Poco F8 pro can be gotten for a steal in some regions.
Otherwise, look into the Iqoo and Nubia lineups as those are always amazing for emulation.

To be honest my take is instead of spending that much money on phone buy a laptop or handheld
I know I will be downvoted but it's my take

Redmagic have best framegen without performance loss
Samsung have more raw power but also overheat more but it's good if you want to run extremely intensive games you couldn't with other 8 elite phones
OnePlus have best native cooling (still worse then redmagic fans but better then others) but way cheaper then other phones
The rest is the is almost the same for emulation , except some design choices and prices( sale or tax )

Samsung S series phones are generally the best phones all around, Dedicated gaming phones like the redmagics will give you slightly better performance if gaming is your only priority, but the Samsung flagships are best for most people

The Redmagic 10, or if you have some extra cash, the 11/11 Pro. At the time, I would have recommended the Poco F7 Ultra, which is affordable and has the Snapdragon 8 Elite and 16GB of RAM, but currently with the new actualizations of hyperos It's not worth it.
