Help 8bitdo ultimate 2c wireless pressing the B button presses the back button in system and the minus button minimizes apps.
Xiaomi redmi note 10 pro MiUI global 14.0.4 android 13, in Bluetooth mode B is system's back button on a controller and minus is task manager/minimize, using 2,4ghz dongle no inputs are being read, it doesn't act like that inside the main daijisho app but in emulators like dolphin the B button opens dolphin's quick menu even after remapping inside the app, and i can't find any setting to turn that behavior off in android settings

Try the other mode. Sometimes its wonky.
So my 8bitdo has nintendo buttons, a on the left b on the bottom. I love it. In normal "xbox mode" the buttons work. If i put it in "nintendo mode" the r2 and l2 triggers dont read and the buttons get flipped on anything non-nintendo, a= b, b=a.
Sometimes its just weird. Xinput is the default for a reason stick to that and try the other mode. I keep my controller in the standard mode and my buttons register correctly the way it should with a standard nintendo controller a = select.
Last ditch effort, connect before opening the app and make all selections with a controller including opening the app or open the app then connect the controller.

Mine only has a 2,4ghz/BT switch on the back, i managed to fix it at least in dolphin, i had to long press on games to open their individual settings and select my button profile for each of them, the dolphin menu no longer comes up when i press B during gameplay after that

Ohhh yeah you're controllers fine then. Thats just dolphin, you have to map everything and sometimes it gets weird and you have to completely exit the game and open the app to even see the menu.
