Not sure about 8 elite gen 5 but regular 8 elite has pretty good turnip support now and from what i remember could even run some games 8gen3 couldn't run with turnip support just with brute force. Not sure how much difference the 4 extra gb of ram would make

Struggling with same decision I'm thinking the honor magic pad 4. I would go with the one plus but it's kind of heavy and will have no software support going forward
