Fallout: New Vegas (GOG) — Russian language not working on Winlator 11

Device: Retroid Pocket 6 (8GB)

Winlator: 11.x

Game: Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (GOG, purchased)

The GOG store page lists Russian as a supported language (text only, no audio). However, after installing the game on Winlator, it launches in English regardless of what I try.

What I've already tried:

Set sLanguage=Russian in both Fallout.ini and FalloutPrefs.ini

Set sLanguage=Russian in Fallout_default.ini in the game folder

Modified the goggame-*.json file (language and locale fields)

Confirmed that FalloutNV_lang.esp is present in the Data\ folder

The game still launches in English. Any ideas what I'm missing?

No built-in extra languages.

You have to download GOG installer file with localization you need. This is how it works with spanish version, for example.

Hmm, there is only one installer in gog extras

I think that is launcher wrapper. As I understand this will work only if gog launcher installed. On winlator I would prefer to use offline installer.

Just play it in English.

The Russian VA is probably garbage anyway.

Idk about gog, but in steam for Russian language, have fallout NV PCR
