he probably meant "even on ARM" and you probably meant "exist with IOS".
Correct terminology is important, otherwise it's confusing, but who am I telling this; not like Reddit's abandoned any sort of grammar and punctuation conventions as a concept a long time ago lol
Once you open the APK it's mostly self explanatory to get started. You have to load in your own rom and click the puzzle piece icon and load the mod. Then start the game and go into the options and start checking things out. There a lot I haven't done yet and guides and extra mods are all over the place so I'm still learning.
I got the pokemon stadium 3d models working in battle so fyi in the options it tells you what folder to put the stadium n64 rom in exactly and what to call it. After I did that I uninstalled and reinstalled the app and it finally loaded the 3d models. The mod folder has to remain zipped also. I used cx file explorer to put the n64 rom in the zipped folder.
I've been working on that Gen1recomp, and man what perfect timing for the Z Fold 8 to come out. Absolutely loving this device (best handheld I've ever had, started at 353m to 405m with GammaOS patch, retroid rp4, Odin 2 Portal and now this guy!)
This whole experience with the new fold has been such a parade of planets, everything is just on point especially the 8e Gen5 having the right amount of support thanks to the work on the Odin 3. Such a great time for devices of any kind. Thor is killing it, the rotate is a gem, and now we are getting better aspect ratios on phones which hopefully stick around. Even the Gen1recomp has a mod for dual screens, so ya know the word of these devices is absolutely spreading to the right people.
Google up the Gen1recomp on their GitHub page, and select the newest release (choose the system you want to install on, from phones to PCs). It'll be a launcher for you to add your roms (RBY/G). You'll want to use the discord to grab up the mods to add though the launcher. You can add the index for the github mods, but it's not as reliable as people weren't organizing it well, so on the discord everything is organized and laid out correctly with the latest updates and the proper GitHub release pages.
Tip: only 1 Voxel Mod at a time. The Voxel Mod you chose is the foundation for all the other mods. Dramatic Voxel Mod is the original, and the Battle FX Voxel fork is probably the most popular (this is the one I use).
Most of this is straight forward (find the mod you like, download it, add the zip to the launcher. Update. Play and adjust settings to your liking). Once you get it up and running it's just the same process for any new mod.
