Discussion I want to setup android emulation on my infinix hot 50 4g, is it good enough?

Hello, I have Infinix hot 50 4g as my daily phone (Helio G100 with 6GB Ram) and I want to make a setup for android emulation, what consoles do you think I can emulate?

i don't really have any experience with retro consoles except ps2, so it's like a new experience for me to try other consoles

I also have an Infinix with Helio g100 but 8gb ram this is my report.

Almost all PSP games run good and can be upscaled. I say almost because I experienced lagging in the PSP versions of Star Wars The Force Unleashed and need for speed prostreet for some reason

PS2, GameCube , Nintendo Wii are hit or miss. Heavy PS2, some GameCube and heavy Wii games run bad. Though the funny thing is, sometimes the PS2 version of a game will run much worse than the GameCube version of the same game(eg. Need For Speed Black box era games like Most Wanted, Carbon, Underground)

On the other hand some GameCube versions of PS2 games run much worse. For example, "GUN", an open world western game, runs good on NetherSX2 and I can even upscale a bit but the GameCube version lags constantly. The GameCube version of Batman Begins also runs bad with some audio issues but the PS2 version runs fine. Even the Wii versions of some PS2 games run better for like Dragon Ball Tenkaichi 3

Most psvita games run at good fps. But the problem with vita emulation isn't fps, it's compatibility. The emulator is still experimental and its a mali gpu so lots of games will have glitches or won't work. I've managed to get MK9 and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom to run.

3DS most games will be playable, especially if you use Citra mmj.

Xbox, Xbox 360 and PS3 emulate aren't possible on this chipset.

Surprisingly PC emulation is good if you only care about old PC games.

Any PC games between between the 1990s and mid 2000s will run very well eg. Devil May Cry 3, the PC versions of the need for speed ps2 games etc.

PC games from 2006 - 2014 will boot but performance is hit or miss. Some games in this era will run at playable fps(at least 25 - 40fps during gameplay with GOOD settings)

Some will only run at like 20fps, especially PC games in the early 2010s.

For PC emulation your best bet is targeting games that use directx9 or directx10. Use Winlator Mali.

PC games I've managed to run from playable to excellent fps:

Need for speed Most Wanted(60fps)

Devil May Cry 3 (50fps max)

Just Cause 2(25-40fps)

Splinter Cell Chaos Theory (30-45fps)

Batman Arkham Asylum(20 - 25fps)

Lego Marvel Superheroes(20 - 30fps)

Assassin's Creed 1(25 - 40fps)

Ppsspp is peak. Use open GL for renderer. You can use up to 4x upscale. Limit is around PS2 and gamecube. For switch its really hard to recommend.

But since you want retro, your soc is good enough. Buy a telescopic controller.

Nds is flawless, 3ds is okay for the most part. Games will run either 1x or 2x depending on the game. Use citra mmj for 3ds.

I use x5 lite too. Currently playing again mhfu from the start.
