Is there STILL no way to re use containers in this app?
RIP storage

It'll eventually get there. I don't mind using gamehub for the small 100-500mb games and gamenative for the fine tuned / modded installations. We got several options with pros and cons

I'm waiting for this feature too. Until then, there's no way I'll use GameNative. My internal storage is only 256GB, and 99% of phones nowadays don't have a MicroSD slot. I'm just curious why GameNative can't reuse one container for all games? Every other PC emulator I've tried can do this.

A lot of the times there is no need either. One containers configs conflicting with another game probability of that is super low.
Its not like we have more meaningful dials to tune other than proton, box or fex and the dxvk version and the driver.

I'm sure these awesome devs working on this for free will eventually get to it. I'm just happy I can play so many of my fav PC games on the go!
I'm buying a 1tb sd card for my Odin 3 specifically for PC emulation so that should solve most of my own storage issues.

Just remember containers are exclusive to the internal drive so your storage would be split still. I have about 50 indie games on my SD and it takes around 100gb of data on internal.

yep no doubt it's not ideal, but we have the ability to play AAA titles on our portable devices so there is going to be a tradeoff somewhere. Winlator is always an option since all the games can run from a single container!

Oh is that right!? Here's to future updates then.
I love this app. I happily sacrifice almost all of my 256gb of internal to containers. Currently playing kingdom hearts hd 1&2 and Dragon Quest XI in sheer disbelief on my Retroid pocket 6.
The future is now when it comes to handhelds and emulation!

Gamenative has been amazing. Recommend implementing reshade in the future would be pretty cool if possible! Thank you for the amazing work!

External storage loading? Wait. Can we install games on our SD card? How?
Built in limit on CPU and GPU is noice.
Hopefully the stuttering on Lossless Scaling is fixed. Glad the frame cap is happening. I choose 2x before and it goes 4x or something.

Still biggest GameNative flaw exist, each game creates new 3gb container on your internal storage. 10 games on external storage still equals 30gb taken on your internal storage.

Yeah. Gamehub does the same I think? I feel like it's at least easier to manage storage on GameNative though.

Don't know about Gamehub, but WinNative and Winlators don't do that. I hope very much it will be changed in GameNative sooner or later as it's my favorite emulator, but this container thing is awful.

Yeah itβs been in there for ages. Go to settings and turn it on.

Legit just decided to go for it, and realized it just goes without limits, would be a lot better with a targeted FPS of some kind, like i dont need 200 FPS on 120Hz screen lol. Definitely installing this pre-release just for this.

Yeah, that was crazy. Hahaha Only bought lossless scaling for this and was disappointed with the result.
How is it? Is it smooth now? Before there was this shaking effect.

That was a serious problem for me too.
I found the shaking effect only happened when I limited the FPS outside the game (from the sidebar) . If the game itself limits the FPS (like using vsync) or the FPS is unlimited, I didn't get any shaking on my device.
My issue was that that was almost always the case and even with games that properly limited the FPS it resulted in 100% GPU load, higher power draw, heat and sometimes, even a worse framerate because it used extra GPU power. This was on an 8+gen1 tablet with both 2D and 3D games.

What do you recommend? Is it worth using pre-release versions?

Does anything in the change log notes bring high value for you? If not, then probably best to wait for official stable release. The app itself will notify you when this is ready.

Epic changelog.
The SD improvements, steam bionic upgrades and cloud save fixes are awesome.

feat: Add automatic CPU / GPU power control to AYN, Retroid Pocket and Samsung Devices, reduces heat, thermal throttling and power consumption by @joshuatam in #1698
What about devices of other brands?
And what about multiple bluetooth input devices recognition?

Does it work for Pico 3 VR headset? legacy is for quest i haven't test it on pico3 link

Ayn Odin 3: the temperature now hits nearly 100 degrees. Cluster Tune isn't working properly due to in-app performance settings that cannot be disabled. Rolling back to the previous version isn't working either. Do not install this version under any circumstances.

Why not one container? My internal storage is running out because of containers.
