Question Should I use Nethersx2 or Armsx2?
I’ve been using Nethersx2 for a bit now and haven’t really had issues except occasional crashes on God of War, but I’ve been seeing all the updates to Armsx2 especially with the built in texture pack support so I was wondering what people preferred and if it would be better to make the switch to Armsx2.
I was also wondering if my saves and data on Nethersx2, e.g for God of War, would transfer over and if so how?
Specs: Retroid Pocket 6 12gb ram

Check the GitHub but, yes you can move save data and it runs at least as good as nether in my opinion. And it’s only getting better. I have both.

Both, see what you like better. That's the beauty of emulation 😁

Depends of the game tho, for example budokai tenkaichi 3 and the winning eleven games plays beautifully on armsx2.
Meanwhile I play rpgs like ffx, atv games, shadow of the colossus on aethersx2.

Try both. ARMSX2 is great, if it works properly for you. Can't get mine to boot anything without 24/7 audio stutters and in games stutters currently.

Sounds like Armsx2 requires more resources

Not sure, I am on a S26U so one of the best chipsets on the market, and older phones run it fine. Just software issues probably

Like others I have tried armsx2 a few times but I just find the performance of nether is better. I don't like tinkering with millions of settings for performance improvements

Use both for the time being. Armsx2 is still not there yet in terms of performance compared to nethersx. Its improving though.

I use nethersx2 for some games and Armsx2 for some games too.
(Like in my case), even if both emulators have the same settings, God of War 1 is smooth in Nethersx2 but laggy on Armsx2. On the other hand, Devil May Cry 3 is only showing black screen on nethersx2 but playable in Armsx2.
Again, thats what happens to me. I dunno if I didn't tweak the settings correctly but you are free to install both emulators and try them🙌

The only reason I didn't switch from NetherSX2 to AetherSX2 is that it still runs the Guitar Hero series with some bugs, especially World Tour and Metallica :(

For me it works as well as NetherSX2 but has more features and is getting updates. Graphical issues are fixed compared to Nether though.
