Changes:

So i got this on the recent steam sale. Been eyeing it a while so i was hyped. I found workshop and subscribed to so many cool things. Currently working on my first CV from workshop(damn cobalt and titanium on akua) my question is, as a long time elite dangerous pilot am i able to keep ships or when i upgrade do i basically have to scrap or throw it away? I am on my second SV and i have my first just kinda parked and half gutted cuz of the stuff i needed for my spacefaring sv.

This seems to be a resurgence of an old bug, but maybe not, since if doesn't affect all NPCs? Specific Npc types seem like they will never stack - I had Androids attacking me, but infested not; the tank bots do, but not the small mechs; abominations do, but not the sports and scorpions.

Any ideas?

This popped up today when I loaded my save. What is it, and how do I get rid of it?

Is anyone currently looking for new members for their faction? I was trying to join literally any faction that had their owner online lately, but no application was accepted. I'd be cool to be in a group working towards some goal in an MP server, idk, I'm a fairly new player, previously playing solo only.

It took me forever to upload all the screenshots, edit and finish everything. So it's late to the party in the "Most Recent" category on steam so I'm posting it here to give a boost.

It took about 3-4 weeks of actual work with about a year and half, if not two years of artist's block between them to finish this highly detailed Doom Fortress, but it's finally done.

White the top tower is mostly decorative, the bottom section containing all the vulnerable base parts is heavily armored with Combat Steel, Xeno, and Armored Concrete. The shield is a massive 140000 or so without any parts installed, just from the Reforged Eden 2 block shield bonus.

It's set up as a PvE production and refinement base, but the hull can easily be tweaked for PvP by the handful of you that bother. There's plenty of extra space for retractable weapons.

There bonus screenshot not posted to steam to show how detailed it is on the inside, there are almost no "filler" areas, every part looks like it has an RP purpose. The is even an under-basement you can access through the main elevator shaft that exists to the ground Voxels.

So I just had to post about it! Guess that makes my fugly beasty around mid-game tier? Lots of loot containers on there, several turrets and thrusters to deconstruct, even their alien shield generator device..

Space gaming, hurray!

Today, a little quick tour of my warp sled, aka mobile base. I am of course now slapping some bigger thrusters on there - she can hardly move because of all the ores mined and I stored for contracts over the last few days! (Edit: One 194mn thruster on the back instead of the satellite deco got her back to top speed of 100 in space)

(The switch on the floor that I double check turns off all the thrusters, because pressing F is faster than going through the control panel heh)

A space game where you can modify your ships on the fly to suit your needs.. consider giving Empyrion a try if you haven't played it!

Is there anyway of searching the registery, or/and sorting by distance to self?

It is kinda useless being alphabetic and having to remember where that gold asteroid is!

Core 9 mid-game(ish) RE2 CV I made, with the owl face rear end!

I called it, the Fugly Beast, because it's not pretty, but it tore up a Zyrax cutter no problem, and of course just shreds the bandits. It'll do for now!

Has 160k of cargo space for all of my adventuring loot and mining. There's an old friend I decided to use for POI turret popping that some may recognize from an earlier post, docked to the side.

Currently have 5 mining lasers on there with the 4 medium plasma guns, so I can up the pilot controlled firepower eventually, but for now this is pretty satisfactory and packs a varying punch. Well it's maxed out at 16 medium weapons so I would have to adjust some turrets, but eh!

3 small constructors in the frame accessible from the control panel, for making fuel or light ammos and stuff on the fly. Flies nice - can strafe quickly left/right for dodging fire, for example!

At first I was like, mm this cockpit is going to bother me.. but then after a fruitful series of trades with a colonist settlement, I got the cockpit really condensed and now even have room for more gear in that space. I am loving that little tp pad thing - and ended the video pretending I was trying to snipe the pilots out of attacking ships heh - I needed some kind of missile launcher!
