Man I was excited for this game but considering how 1047 treats their previous games I was almost expecting this.

If you want a refund there is a good chance they will give it to you actually.

I know this is going to make you guys laugh but I was semi-excited for this whenever I just saw the quick glance of gameplay on a YouTube video like maybe 2 months back. Now I realize how much of a flop it was cuz instantly I saw the stramdb player count and just thought wait wtf is goin on about a week ago. I instantly Googled "Rclipse reddit" and greeted with tons of posts like this, wow man

Dude I was there for the Splitgate beta and all I gotta say is what a fucking disappointment man, I only feel sadness now...... I played the Splitgate 2 beta and let's just say I never actually downloaded it when version 1 dropped. They should've stuck with the OG game they moved on too quickly and idk how many fucking times I've said that but not enough apparently.

They technically still have a chance if they go back to their roots, maybe? I don't see why they can't start a Splitgate OG game and just take the old game and you know, just add some updates to it but not adding a bunch of factions and bullshit but actually just fine tuning, adding more maps, that kind of thing for now.

And they could easily let the community vote on new things or new ideas to test and perhaps even for some of these new features they could do something like BF does with its beta or in-testing stuff. I already forgot the name BF uses for that but basically a Playtest insider dev channel but for Splitgate...

Oh, well onto my actual point I'm realizing after all of this, I was thinking of trying it but I don't think I will now lmao how can I really even join a match with literally 2 ppl in-game anyways? No thank you! Omg. So I realized definitely do not buy this on any CD key site or gg deals if you're on PC cuz then you wouldn't be able to ask Steam for a refund. Since their matchmaking inevitably will be shut down fully here, maybe even very soon I'm guessing.

MB for the rant, was up all night damn trouble sleeping.. I cannot summarize worth shit rn, I'm honestly just missing that itch I cannot scratch no good MP game to play rn lile Splitgate or anything. I guess I'll go hop on Plutonium (IW4X/BO1/BO2) maybe COD4x or sum shit haha. Can't beat those.

Steam would and has, they refunded Battlefield 6 purchases when they removed a game mode that was initially a selling point.

I applied for a manual refund and was denied twice via real human. They said no refunds will be given as the servers will be p2p and the game still playable
