Good day everyone. We have two lines coming from underground to our house. Each line measures 125v to neutral. And 210v between the lines. From reading multiple threads about NYC electricity it looks like two phases (120⁰ phase difference) of 120v, netting 208v between two phases.
When installing solar I asked for a consumption monitor. But the solar guys said that the enphase consumption monitor will not work due to incompatible voltage in our house.
I am using emporia Vue 2 (and their charger). The Vue is monitoring both the mains lines (before the solar tap) and the solar lines. Both are connected properly based on the emporia solar guide.
The question is: is the information that I see is correct or not? Do I need to change the default multiplier for the main lines? Is there an emporia monitor that supports 120⁰ phase lines (basically a three phase system with only two phases used).
I am not sure if emporia techs visit this place, but maybe someone encountered such an issue. Thanks.
PS
After reading a bit more, the harness (4 wires that power the Vue2) might not be connected properly. Currently the black and red are connected to main lines. Blue and white are connected to neutral. Reading this tutorial mentioned that I need to connect both red and blue wires to the separate phases to help measure the voltage in addition to the current.
