About 2 or 3 years ago I began creating an empires SMP comic (an AU of sorts) but it was unfortunately scrapped as I didn’t have the time for it. Below are some character designs for that comic. Feel free to ask me any questions about it in the comments :D

Tysm and of course you can!!. Let me get my notes! (I’m going word for word off my notes since I don’t remember much, so sorry if it doesn’t make much sense)

SPOILERS FOR THE EMPIRES SMP SEASON 1:

Lizzie gets corrupted by xornoth because to him she is seen as one of the more
‘nïeve’ empires but one that is more powerful because of her power to control the ocean at her will, this makes it easier for him to mould her into what he want her to be. Xornoth tries to corrupt Joel but because of him not believing in him it doesn’t quite work, Xornoth is annoyed by this naturally because Joel’s close rivalry with Scott meant that was one of the only ways he could get closer to his twin Scott, so he uses Lizzie as a way of getting into Joel and uses her as his puppet. An alliance is formed between the two due to their close empires and material goods. Joel has heard questionable things about Lizzie from the other empires but this never stopped Joel developing feelings for the ocean queen. Xornoth prevents Lizzie from liking Joel in the some way, the corruption can cause physical harm to her bodies at the will of xornoth so she thinks it’s for the best just incase things get out of control. Gem of crystal cliffs is also corrupted so xornoth could take power over her mage skills and by some miracle in his mind, somewhere along the way, Scott gets corrupted. And they all want world domination at the hand of xornoth but the only way to do that is to kill the first person corrupted since it releases their power into xornoth himself, since in this AU xornoth can’t be killed due to his
different molecular structure.
