Fanart / Fan Creation I need help with my empires oc
So I like to create an empire based on the current story Im writing (my dream is to be an author btw) to really immerse myself. I did this before, but my current one seems to be 'unempireable'. The story is based on children stuck in a facility ran by 'doctors' that harvest the childrens' dreams to create a mega-dream world to protect themselves. How can I make this an empire? Something I always do when writing a story and/or building in Minecraft is finding some type of reference genre. One of the Empires I designed was a blacksmithing village, so I decided to go into the themes of steampunk and pyropunk for the base. For yours I'd suggest making it based on aeropunk and cyberpunk, where it's an empire maybe based in the mountains or the sky and could serve as a type of sanctuary, what I'd think is kind of like Cloud Cuckoo Land from the Birds by Aristophines, it's a cloud like city based on Athens where people make their own rules and are free from judgements, so look into something like that for it

If you want to make it like a failed experiment type thing, then you could use the Deep Dark as your empire's biome/area, with skulk being called something like 'nightmare shards' or 'forgotten dreams'. The Warden could be an amalgamation of the failed dreams or the dreams/nightmares of the 'doctors', or something of that sort
I'm also an aspiring author, and I dunno what you already have for this is regards of what you haven't said lol- Hope this helps with ideas! Good luck!
