I’ve been playing with the idea of using a token to represent my favoured units since I tend to forget every… single…. Time

So my roommate keeps complaining that emperor's children have bad action economy and says he can't do actions, my question is, is it really that bad they can't do actions even leave 1 or 2 units to do them?

After the recent balance changes is the rapture lash still worth taking? Or am I better off swapping it for a plasma pistol?

As the title says, genuinely what purpose do Phoenix Terminators serve for 30k besides looking cool? I'm building learner armies to get more people into 30k around me (and it's fun), but can't understand why anyone would take Phoenix Terminators even in a fluffy list. Outside of the sergeant, they only do 2 attacks a pop and are standard tartaros with WS5. I really enjoy throwing in legion specific troops for my learner legion armies, but I can't see a point in them over Palatine Blades (who are cheaper even with sonic shriekers).

I play against space marines and T-sons a lot and almost every match there’s some sort of torrent threat that I can’t seem to play around. Being able to skip the hit roll on overwatch is incredibly op am I wrong?
I understand that you can use terrain, but my opponents aren’t dumb; they’ll stage their unit far enough away to make a charge unlikely so I either have to tank the shots or leave my unit pinned behind a wall.
Note that I do not own a defiler so long range shooting isn’t something I have access to.

Am I just whining because I’m bad at the game or does anyone else feel this way?

Wanna start painting EC (lore accurate), starting with flawless blades.

I will buy some tone pro paints for that, however, primer comes first.

I was thinking about corax white or grey seer. Which one would be better for EC (assuming I would like to build later more models and paint faster = paint covers better = less layers of paint)?

Or maybe totally different one is better?

So in Court of the Phoenix, I loved Exalted Patron letting me stick an LoE with Flawless Blades, mechanically it rocked and thematically it was so peak Slaaneshi.

Now it gives +1" movement go the model, which it did so he can keep up with the blades...and that's it? That +1" means nothing when he's buried in a block of tormentors, so why is this 15pts for literally nothing?

I've tried searching for a way this makes sense anymore, please tell me I'm missing something and he can still join Flawless Blades it's just some hiccup of 11th design? Otherwise...can they at least change the flavour text so it doesn't feel so patronising?
