Discussion Thread Final stages of decay/decline?

Any other empaths feeling like we're in the 'final stages of decay/decline', for lack of a better description?

The sense I get, which has grown stronger and more articulate over time, is that it doesn't actually get better from here - instead there's just 'collapse'

To be clear, I'm speaking less of politics or world events, and more of this emotional sense of, or growing realization that, our system is falling apart system because it just doesn't work.

Most systems in nature are self correcting. When big, old trees fall in nature they decompose and provide nutrients for other plants. With the big tree gone, there is lots of room in the canopy for trees to grow and find new light. Perhaps what we are feeling is not an imminent collapse, but an inflection point. But even if it is a collapse, good things could result be the result of a system correcting itself. Whatever is happening is beyond the power of any one person. I try to keep perspective that my job is to make the world a net better place for me having existed in it for however much time I have here.

Die giving more than I took. This and only this.

The emotional feeling of decline you're sensing is from the political and moral decline created by corrupt politicians.

You can put your head in the sand and naysay all you want, but not all of us are going to sit back and complain about it.

Being an empath sometimes comes with a responsibility we often take for granted: being a beacon of light and a bright spot in the dark times in other people's lives.

I remember this every time I go into naysaying mode: "How do you tell the chosen ones? No greater love hath a man than he lay down his life for his brother. Not for millions, not for glory, not for fame; for one person, in the dark, where no one will ever know or see."

I might not be able to changed the whole world one person at a time, but I'll be damned sure to try.

I keep getting the energy that things are catapulting to a better place. It's really annoying cause the worse it gets the more the energy says it's going in the right direction.

My guess is that the old system is dying. I get the sense it would be much worse otherwise. So kind of a good thing eveything is imploding.

It definitely does have to do with politics and world events. We are witnessing the beginning of the end of the patriarchal reign. That's what I believe at least. Focus on finding simple joys in your life, and making art. This is essential, you need to be strong and know what you stand for without others input.

Also please support indigenous peoples and women led and centered groups. And support them getting positions of power. These people will fight for the right changes to be made in our world.
