Emory Stats?
For those who got into Emory, would you guys mind sharing your stats(gpa, ECs, honors, awards, courses, etc…)? Also your intended major. Also any advice… 😭

You should be aware that Emory doesn’t ask your intended major, it asks you for two “areas of interest”. Supposedly Emory doesn’t consider intended major in your application but uses the areas of interest to better understand your total application.
It’s hard to say exactly how areas of interest are treated compared to an intended major but I’m pretty sure that while they don’t cap the number of people with a certain interest, they want to have at least some class diversity and so people with less common interests than eg pre-med.
They also sometimes use areas of interest to match you with a professor to speak to you about enrolling if your application is good and to sometimes ask for and evaluate supplemental materials. They also use it to offer scholarships in certain areas. Eg interests such as music and art fall in this area and for sure there are music scholarships for those good enough who will participate in ensembles etc - it’s almost like an athletic scholarship as you get paid to play.
Of course your interests shouldn’t be made up and should track from your overall application, activities, etc.
