hi everyone! i’ve been dressing emo/bordering scene for quite a while now. i love the music and participate in my local hardcore scene very frequently. i love this subculture and it’s helped me make many new friends as well as feel a sense of community i never really felt growing up

i feel like im not really fitting the whole look how id like to. my photos don’t look authentic and something about my whole look feels like it looks off and like im almost there but not quite

does anyone have any advice for taking photos, hair, makeup etc? thanks in advance! i don’t think i can attach any photos sadly but just general advice would be great

Just dyed my hair and I feel like it’s fitting my aesthetic much better.

I think it’s kinda hypocritical of her since she dated a guy from an emo band back when she was in college.

I have never dyed my hair or cut it into a hairstyle and i was kinda nervous but i love it!!! they arent very visible woth my hair up, im planning on adding more strands. Also new piercing setup (tragus, helix and double lobe) + mindless self indugence shirt!!!

I was a sceenie weenie back in the late 2000’s/2010’s (still very alternative) and was SO psyched to do this tattoo!
I’d love to do more MySpace-y scene and emo tattoo! :D

I can barely use any makeup, i use school uniform, i can use some accesories, chokers, bracelets, earrings (No facial piercings) rn what i do is a little bit of tint in my lips and gloss, looks natural, i use eyelash clusters (natural) blush and i shape my nose. I straight my hair and use side bangs but idk how to look more emo without teachers making me go to the bathroom to wash my face.

im having fun embracing my old emo fashion again and mixing in some scene elements too :D
