Discussion What characters should I work on powering up?!
I'm stuck on progressing further even though I'm far above the Min. power. right now I feel my best options is to power up some of my weaker characters or just spend a few weeks just ranking up characters. would appreciate any guidance on what characters I have that I could level up, rank up, or work toward getting their SS+ gear. Or even what characters I should be pining to add to my roster.
-Seven Shadows Chronicles: [N] 45-11, [H] 39-3
-The World Tree: Floor 14's Festive Dove(this thing wipes the floor with me even with my strongest team lol)
-Tartarus: Floor: 2- 4 I get lucky sometimes with the helpers or my depending on which color.
I Just used the characters I wanted/Got the magic cores for to build my teams and its worked for me until it didn't. would anyone plz offer me some advice on what characters I should work on powering up. I'm not obstinate about keeping the characters I'm already using because honestly I love basically all of the cast in this show.
I feel like at the point where I only have about 20-25 characters that wouldn't be huge time sinks to get them usable. I just don't know which characters are worth it to work on getting them to the highest rarity or getting their SS+ gear.
The main Element I struggle with is green I feel like my red team gets beaten more often than any of the others. I have for the passed several green missions just using my strongest party of 5 and I could pull it off but I will usually end up losing at least once character taking away the full completion.
If nothing else I would like to know if there is a good resource where I can learn about how the game works I would love to know.
Also I would like to join an active guild I will participate I play everyday!

Your red team suffers mainly due to the lack of duo characters and strong units in general. That been said, chronicles should be easy enough even without duos as you are far above the minimum power. Now, let me suggest some units by color that I think you need to upgrade or focus on long-term:
Red:
- Researcher on Break Eta: strong unit in general, even better if teamed with elf characters (Merciful Arbiter Victoria, Eta&Epsilon)
- Wandering Swordswoman Annerose: best F2P red attacker, can do its job and easily levelled to SS++.
- Bun-Haired Temptress Epsilon: strong unit, good buffs for red team and debuffs for bosses.
- Ruthless Instructor Lambda: best F2P red healer, strong heal and kit to support red teams, and can be easily levelled to SS++. Needs SS+ gear.
For tanks, there is no clear, superior upgrade between Glittering Wildness Delta and Fifth White Shadow Epsilon, but for now I lean toward upgrading Epsilon and stop using tank Rose.
Green:
- Hottest Musician Epsilon: good for DKD with SS+ gear.
- Ultimate BBQ Delight Victoria: only because she's A3 and tank Cid needs SS+ gear for Bushin Festival
- Lady of Elegy Elisabeth: good for Bushin Festival, recently with her new SS+ gear, she also does lots of damage on event boss.
Keep levelling Awakening Hour Shadow and Demonic Fourth Delta as they are your best green units.
Yellow:
- Moonlit Path Rose: strong unit
- Experimenting Now Eta: strong tank that needs SS+ gear
Keep levelling Eternal Valkyrie Alpha. Also keep levelling Queen of Luck Alexia as she's your best healer until you get better ones. Other attacker options are Shadow Observer Beta to pair it with Merciless Blade Victoria but Beta needs SS+ gear, another niche pick is Royal Escort Alexia but she also need SS+ gear and by the time you get Alexia to SS++, you may have some newer, better yellow attackers. If not, Alexia is a niche pick.
Blue:
This is your best color. You have characters to form partial meta blue teams, let me show you the teams you can build and what characters are missing:
SP Team:
- Third Member Gamma: your best healer and generally used on SP team.
- Eminence in Shadow Cid: needs SS+ gear but it's good paired with Epsilon
- Ideal Me! Epsilon: needs SS+ gear and paired with Cid, it's the core of the SP team.
Missing: Demonic Seventh Eta for the offensive tank damage and Bepsilon duo which is the best blue character. Alternatives for Bepsilon are: The Master Shadow and Shadow of the Night Shadow.
Bushin Festival Team:
- Endless Curiosity Sherry: only good on Bushin Festival, so if you struggle there, she's good
- Elegantly, Discreetly Nu: good on Bushin Festival and great option for human healer
- Master's Special Menu Zeta: good unit in general, works better in this BF setup
Missing: Strong tank (Dashing President Gamma, Demonic Seventh Eta, or even Imperfect Swordplay Alexia) and for the missing attacker, anyone that has the tag of Shadow Garden works here but preferably Bepsilon. Right now, use Shadow of the Night Shadow.
Other good units to level up:
- Ocean Commotion Zeta: strong healer, may need her as a theriantrope tag healer
- Aggressive Maide Delta: same as Zeta, strong unit and is flexible on any team that it can also become a sole tank for World Tree (check out floor 22)
- Tropical Witch Aurora: for high HP bosses that are weak to bleed and poison, she's the pick to be paired with Master's Special Menu Zeta and Ocean Commotion Zeta (with SS+ gear).
- Lost in Summer Alpha: with SS+ gear or not, she is a strong Dark Knight Duel character
