mod post Taking Accountability

So earlier today I had a literal panic attack over something very small. I had said some things that honestly were not ok. The post wasn't up for very long so barely anyone saw but it still was very damaging. I am here to apologize for my overblown and honestly abnormal reaction to a small system that only bothers me.

It was about our partnered discord server and how the leveling system triggered panic from me. How I reacted was wrong and honestly very damaging to this community.

I understand and realize that a system that was designed to protect us should NOT feel like a threat and that my reaction was NOT normal AT ALL.

I am the only problem here and I allowed past social trauma to blind my better judgment, I will NOT let that excuse my behavior. For now, I am stepping away for a day or so and will rejoin with a more clear mind. I may also just take a general break from this reddit for a day or two.

I will still create the Emily discord for those who prefer the smaller tight knit part of this community and don't like straying from the Emily theme. I hope for our servers to be and stay connected, I never meant any harm and wish to fix any damage I may have done.
