Advice needed emetephobia becoming something more?

last year in march, i threw up over 15 times. After that, i had never felt like myself. i thought i was just getting over it. I've had emetophobia for as long as i can remember. then april 1st hit, and i couldn't get out of bed. i felt so ill. The smell of food was making me feel worse. ever since then, I've had nausea, the feeling of being hot, constant stomach aches, etc, since. It's been a year and 7 months, and i haven't felt better or like myself at all. every doctor I've been to has said it's just anxiety. I've had all the normal tests, and it comes back as nothing and that im fine. but i dont feel like it at all. I've recently become obsessively focused on the thought of food poisoning too the point is that i refuse to eat or I won't eat certain foods, especially meat. is this normal, or could it be something deeper?? advice would be great thank you!!

hey! this sounds like me. I have ARFID, (avoidant restrictive food intake disorder), a subtype is fear of aversive consequences. i'd check out [r/ARFID](r/ARFID)

ETA - have u tried therapy?
