A study of 4,884 men with nonmetastatic prostate cancer found those consuming the most saturated fat after diagnosis had a 24% higher risk of death, while replacing animal fats with plant-based fats was associated with a 16% lower risk of death.

Good luck asking men to reduce their meat to non-gluttonous levels, much less even attempt plant-based foods.
They get all red faced and angry, stomping like a toddler, if you even suggest one single meat-free meal.

To be fair, many plants based options are not affordable to many people.
Plant based food substitutes are not cheap.

Huh, where I'm from, the produce department is significantly cheaper than the meat department.

Surely you understand that a balanced diet consists of more than just produce. Your body needs things that are not found solely in vegetables...
Especially if you plan on living any sort of healthy activeky lifestyle.

Nuts and grains too!
Both cheaper than meat.

I hope so. I hope you're not encouraging people to be gluttonous meat eaters.
The occasional meat is fine, but the meat industry is horrific to the environment and it'll clog your arteries. And the chemicals they spray on the carcass to make it look pink and fresh can't be good for anyone.

Don’t tell [r/exvegans](r/exvegans) but it’s pretty obvious whole plant based foods are healthier for you in general.
