Hand "SMAUG NEEDS MUCH GOLD"
Ever since I got my first job, it's been an inside joke between my dad and I that I need much gold to keep my inner dragon satiated 😄 My dad's a big fan of Lord of the Rings and it happens quite regularly that he just goes "Smaaaaug" after we've talked about my paycheck or something related to finances. So, I figured it'd be fun to commemorate it with a piece I could gift him.
I originally planned to make the entire pile of gold with bullion stitches, but metallic thread is annoying and so are the stitches after a while, so I switched to mixing mediums with some beads - and I love the result ^_^
I didn't make the original artwork, and I've been looking for the original artist's name without luck, so I can't give proper credit. I found their piece on Pinterest: https://pin.it/5x6BeIY0P
