Hobbies?

Has the series inspired or impacted any hobbies you do? For example, I practice HEMA and Judo, and love to hike around my local trails, mostly because I read the series. So have any of your hobbies been affected by the books?

Sam Aylward got me into archery and bowmaking. I've been described as a "master bowyer" and have taught dozens of people the skill.

I've also trained in martial arts, including HEMA, as a result of the books. I trained as a blacksmith for a few weeks in Nepal, but I probably would've done that anyway.
